This Week's Featured Value Minute®
It’s the Little Things
A woman returns a shopping cart to the store for an elderly man. A young man, unsolicited, helps a woman load her groceries into her car. A child stops and picks up the dropped glove of another and runs after her to return it. Someone holds a door open. A student hugs a teacher. A thank you note is written. A quick text message or email is sent to convey a special sentiment. These small gestures of kindness, gratitude and civility make our world a better place for everyone and may, at times, be the only bright moment in someone’s day.
What little things do you do that make life better for others? Why is it important to make these gestures besides it simply being a nice thing to do?
THINK about and PRACTICE those values YOU think important.
Today, do the right thing because your values count in everything you do.
